Seventies inspired... The pajama shirt and cropped jeans

I'm loving the pajama shirt trend but I wasn't sure how I would work it in to my style. I found this shirt in a charity shop and the pointed seventies collar inspired me to wear it with a vintage look.
When I took the shirt to the till the old lady who served me said I would look really smart wearing it to the office, what a cutie, I didn't want to tell her that I mainly wear tracksuits in my job!

I cut the bottom of these jeans off so that they would have pretty frayed edges and I'm so glad I did. I love how it looks against the patent ankle boots.
This seventies coat was a vintage shop bargain, I'm excited for the warmer weather so I can get a lot more wear out of it!

I got plenty of stares wearing this and I'm not sure if it was because of my hair or the outfit? Either way I felt super confident so it doesn't matter!

Zara camel coat

I'm pretty psyched to have found my perfect winter coat this year, although my twenty minute deliberation in Zara would say otherwise.
I'm a very indecisive person and the thought of spending £80 without much mulling over is quite scary. Nevertheless, as the shops imminent closure was looming and I was continually reminded by tired staff over the tannoy, I grabbed the jacket and rushed to the till.
The next day when I put on my new purchase I felt no regret. The coat is a really high quality, structured, beautiful and most importantly warm!
The only downside is that the bottom flaps up in the wind, so I wish there was another button to secure it (if only I had some cotton and thread!). Today was a very windy day so that was nicely demonstrated in these photo's.

70's Inspired Wishlist

Bell sleeve crop - River Island

Knee length lace up sandals - Public Desire
Drape front playsuit - Topshop
Black denim pencil skirt - Urban Outfitters
Sleek monochrome watch - Asos

Semi precious stone choker - Topshop

Since having my hair cut short I'm really digging the 70's trend. I'm dressing more sophisticated than usual and feeling like Brigitte Bardot!

Here's some pieces that I think are really versatile, it's easy to transform these from casual day wear to dressy evening looks.

I'm especially tempted by the Topshop playsuit and the watch!

Workwear Wishlist

I am happy to say that I finally have my dream job.
As someone with tattoo's, dyed hair and piercing's I find certain people refuse to take me seriously and they just don't believe I can be successful because of my body mod's.
As disgusting as it is that people still think this way, I hold my head up high and never lower myself to negativity.
I feel the most confident and professional when I am polished and wearing beautiful business attire!
Here are some of my favourite pieces at the minute!

Blouse - Topshop
Gold choker - River Island
Nude ankle boots - Public Desire
Faux Leather cigarette pants - River Island
Camel coat - River Island
Large tote bag - Forever 21
Notebook - Paperchase

In this weather the chunky coat is crucial and the pleather pants are warm but also chic and dressy. It's really important to have a large bag that will easily fit in large files and all of your personal essentials and this tote is the perfect size!
These ankle boots from Public Desire are so gorgeous that honestly... I couldn't resist and they're currently in the post, I'm so excited for them to arrive!
Let me know your favourite pieces...
