Payday Summer Wishlist

Payday is finally here and although I need to be thrifty and save up, I still wanted to see what I like online and who knows I might even treat myself to one or two things later on in the month!

As usual I have gravitated towards the sporty pieces and strappy vests, I love basic pieces that I can just throw on and be comfortable in.
I tried on the sunglasses in Topshop recently and they're so seventies and amazing I die, sadly they are £35 so I'm hoping that I can find a cheaper dupe somewhere, please let me know if you see any!

I think I will definitely buy the Missguided bodysuit, grey is my most worn colour and honestly it will be perfect for showing off my new sternum tattoo!

So my goal to finish my Christmas shopping by December 1st didn't work out, but I have been sensible and sorted the majority of my gifts. I've had two trips to town with a list of gift ideas stuffed in my bag and yet I've still managed to buy myself presents before any family members (oops).
The gifts I've shown above are things that I would quite happily receive, so it's sort of a gift guide/wishlist. Compiling this list just made me want to treat myself to all of the pretty things, maybe I'll splash out in January after the Christmas madness!

I'm loving all of the khaki clothing in the shops at the minute, it makes a change from my usual head to toe black!

Here are a few pieces that I'm digging in particular and since it's just been payday I thought it was a good time to put some of my favourite picks together. The Miss Selfridge coat is really versatile but I'm more tempted by the lace up stiletto's, man I love shoes...

River Island 60's style

Summer seems to have officially ended, it's like I haven't seen the sun in weeks. This means I'm getting to that awkward time between season's when I'm eager to ditch my summer clothes and fill my wardrobe with chunky knits, chic coats and of course a new versatile pair of boots.

I am hugely impressed with River Island's new Autumn/Winter collection, especially the range of gorgeous boots that they have!

It's no secret that I am obsessed with 60's and 70's style and luckily the shops are still filled with amazing pieces inspired by the decades.

So now I have the extremely difficult job of deciding what pair of boots to buy and I really don't know how to choose! I have a pair of chunky over the knee boots from last winter so I think I will end up getting a pair of the ankle boots.

I think my best bet will be heading in to town and trying each pair on to see which ones I fall in love with!

This summer I'm digging nudes, sandals, mules and metallic.

I feel this is the perfect selection of footwear for a tropical holiday, now all I need to do is sort a holiday!

Also I'd forgotten how amazing New Look is for great value, stunning heels. These strappy sandals come in a huge choice of patterns and shades, I couldn't decide what colour was my fave! I'm obsessed...

Since having my hair cut short I'm really digging the 70's trend. I'm dressing more sophisticated than usual and feeling like Brigitte Bardot!

Here's some pieces that I think are really versatile, it's easy to transform these from casual day wear to dressy evening looks.

I'm especially tempted by the Topshop playsuit and the watch!

Payday purchases...

The last few months have been a whirlwind of manically saving money and trying to find somewhere to move before our lease was up. After having offers rejected on houses and being outbid multiple times my boyfriend, our German Shepherd and I have ended up having to move in to my Dad's back room.

After having such a nightmare with our landlords, I'm just so grateful to be out of the flat, and also paying keep is a lot cheaper than paying rent and bills!

So, for the first time in months I have money to spend on myself!

My first purchase is the boxy, fishnet top. I'm obsessed with sporty style and this top is easy to wear, layerable and I love the gold zip detail. I can't wait to wear it layered over a sports bra and high waisted shorts when summer finally arrives!

Forever 21 - £18

I have been trying to find a new black jacket that's versatile and comfy. This black denim jacket is definitely that, it looks great with my usual all black everything and gold accessories!

The jacket fits quite snug and I reccomend going a size up as it's tight on the arms.

Missguided - £30

Also from Missguided is the camel, ribbed crop top. I'm still loving turtle necks and this vest is easily transferred in to summer. It fits really well and I will be teaming it with high waisted pencil skirts and channeling Kim Kardashian!

Missguided - £8

I found the amazing grey, ribbed vest in Primark. It has a low neckline and strappy, open back that is balanced out by the long length and slightly baggy fit. Now I just need a reason to get dressed up, as I can't wait to team it with black skinnies and stilettos.

In anticipation of the summer I bought the amazing gold buckled sandals. I'm always wearing boots or trainers so it's nice to have more options and I love the minimalist style when they're teamed with a plain t shirt and jeans.

I haven't took these off since they arrived!

Workwear Wishlist

I am happy to say that I finally have my dream job.

As someone with tattoo's, dyed hair and piercing's I find certain people refuse to take me seriously and they just don't believe I can be successful because of my body mod's.
As disgusting as it is that people still think this way, I hold my head up high and never lower myself to negativity.

I feel the most confident and professional when I am polished and wearing beautiful business attire!

In this weather the chunky coat is crucial and the pleather pants are warm but also chic and dressy. It's really important to have a large bag that will easily fit in large files and all of your personal essentials and this tote is the perfect size!

These ankle boots from Public Desire are so gorgeous that honestly... I couldn't resist and they're currently in the post, I'm so excited for them to arrive!
