OOTD featuring Lush wigs and leopard print

My hair is currently going through some awkward and ugly stages as I'm growing it out and so I've been wearing wigs most days. In particular I've been living in this long, dark brown one "Forest Dweller" from Lush Wigs. The wig comes with a long fringe and I was struggling to style it and would usually just end up clipping it back. I saw a few people on Instagram had changed their's in to a short pin up fringe so I finally got around to cutting my own!
Luckily it went well and I didn't ruin it with my shaky hands.

With my hair being so short at the minute I can literally throw this wig on in five seconds and it really elevates any casual looks, but still looks natural.
When my hair is longer I'm planning on having a short fringe like this so it was fun to try it out first and see if I like it. I find that wigs are great for trying out new styles before you commit to them or just for pretending you're someone else for a day!

Sorry the accompanying outfit is so boring, it has been raining constantly, meaning I can't wear all the fun summer clothes I would like to. Hopefully the weather will brighten up and I can be a flower child.

70's Vibes OOTD

Last night was a fun one! I got all dressed up, met my best friend Emma and drank cocktails (well, we put straws in pitchers of cocktails so not very sophisticated!).

I've been obsessed with 70's fashion for about 5 years now so I love when it comes in to fashion and there's tons to choose from in the shops.

I really love this suede effect pencil skirt from Primark but the weather has been so grim lately I haven't been able to get much wear out of it. Luckily the rain eased off yesterday and I teamed it with my off the shoulder Motel crop that I've had for a while.

I accessorised with my trusty River Island choker and Forever 21 rings.
I would have loved to wear awesome heels but sadly my ankle is still dodgy after I sprained it a few months ago, so I had to go for my white chunky New Look sandals, but I think they still worked well with the outfit.

Our girl's night was a fun one so hopefully we'll do it more often!
Sorry about the quality of these photo's, it was a last minute job...

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling...

22.
Is it weird that I'm excited for my birthday when it's two months away?
It's hard to believe that I'll be turning 22 when I still feel like I'm 17! Usually I just ask for money but I have my eye on a few things...

Souvenir Jewelry
$60-80

A friend tagged me in a photo of this on Instagram a while back and ever since I've been lusting after it!
My German Shepherd is called Sabbath and he is literally my baby. I've been meaning to get a necklace with his name on since I brought him home, but didn't want a plain piece. This necklace is perfect, I love the script and traditional style flowers.
The only problem is do I get silver or yellow bronze?!

Sassy

Check out Souvenir Jewelry (Instagram @theholymountainism) to look through all of her amazing pieces if you also love statement jewelry and metal music!

£19.50

Nude lipsticks are so easy to wear and I love the pink tone to this brown shade. I want to pair this with a neutral smoky eye and heavy contouring! So 90's, so perfect.

Paperchase
£10

It's around this time of the year that I get a bit bored of the diary I chose for New year and I want to upgrade it to a fresh new one! I love this tropical print and I think it's perfect for some summer inspiration.
My favourite way to plan and brainstorm is on paper so a diary is essential for keeping all my ideas in one place!

Asos
£28

I love this pastel combo of the structured bag and fluffy keyring! The bag is so versatile because of the muted colour and it even comes with a detatchable clutch bag inside. So pretty and it's big enough to fit all of my junk in!

Urban Outfitters
briefs £18
crop top £28

I've wanted the Calvin Klein underwear for so long after seeing so many people looking amazing in them. It's the ultimate set for comfort and yet it's still extremely flattering and sexy.
I think I want the set in black, just so I can get more wear out of it (considering black is pretty much what I live in).

For now that is what I'm wanting for my birthday, so I better start distributing my blog URL around my family.

Everyday makeup routine

Pretty much everyday I use a variation of this makeup routine (well the days I can be bothered wearing any makeup!)
I love experimenting and changing my look up. Right now I'm really in to heavy contouring and highlighting and overdrawing my lips to Pamela Anderson proportions, she is my spirit animal!

Foundation - Illamasqua Skinbase
Powder - Illamasqua pressed powder
Contour and highlight - Illamasqua sculpting powder duo
Eyebrows - Barry M pencil
Lips - Mehron "sweet" lip pencil
Eyeliner - Barry M
Mascara - Barry M Lash Vegas

The eye shadows are from a massive palette I bought from Ebay a while ago, it has every colour you could ever imagine! I used a blending brush to put the brown in my crease and then pressed a red colour on to my lid.

I'm going to do a few more detailed posts with different looks and a post about how I overdraw my lips and different ways to make them appear bigger, so keep checking back!

Also can you spot my handsome German Shepherd Sabbath in the second photo?! He's too cute I can't even deal.
